SafeTrade
In response to the opioid epidemic which has had a devastating impact on our community, Greene County Public Health has started a Bloodborne Infections Disease Prevention program called SafeTrade. SafeTrade is a one-for-one syringe exchange program that also offers HIV and Hepatitis C testing, referrals to substance abuse treatment, education on safe injecting practices to reduce the spread of disease, and training on how to use naloxone to reverse an opioid overdose.
SafeTrade operates at the following times:
Mondays: 1PM – 4PM, Mobile Unit, 333 N Broad St., Fairborn, OH 45324
Wednesdays: 1PM – 4PM, 360 Wilson Dr. Xenia, OH 45385
Fridays: 1PM-4PM, 25 S. Central Ave. Fairborn, OH 45324
SafeTrade will be closed on federal holidays, Christmas Eve and the day after Thanksgiving.
