Birth and Death Certificates
Vital Statistics Office
The Vital Statistics Office receives, reports, and maintains records for all births and deaths that occurred in Greene County from 1909 to the present. Records created prior to 1909 are maintained by the Greene County Records Center & Archives.
Birth and death records are public information and are available to anyone upon request.
Greene County Public Health can issue certified birth certificates for anyone born in the state of Ohio and certified death certificates for deaths that occurred anywhere in Ohio within the past 50 years.
Please Note: Uncertified copies are no longer available due to Ohio House Bill 95.
