Press Release: Greene County Public Health Earns Recognition for Innovative Financial Planning Model

XENIA, OHIO — Greene County Public Health (GCPH) was recently recognized by the National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO) as a Model Practice Award Recipient for developing an innovative financial strategic planning model that has strengthened the department's long-term financial stability, protected essential public health services, and saved taxpayers millions of dollars in interest costs.

The award was presented to Noah Stuby, Deputy Health Commissioner for Greene County Public Health, during the NACCHO 360 annual conference held in Louisville, Kentucky, July 14-17, by Lori Freeman, Chief Executive Officer of NACCHO, and Dr. Patrick McGough, NACCHO’s newest President.
