A Community Healing Affair to Offer Free Resources, Wellness Activities & Support Services
Thursday, October 9, 2025 | 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM | The Wellness Center @ Antioch College
Yellow Springs, OH – September 25, 2025 — The community is invited to attend “A Community Healing Affair,” a vibrant, supportive, and inclusive event dedicated to healing, empowerment, and connection. This free public event will take place on Thursday, October 9, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wellness Center on the Antioch College campus.
This event brings together community members, health professionals, advocates, and service providers to offer a wide range of free resources, workshops, and activities focused on wellness, safety, and empowerment.
Event Schedule:
- 3:00 PM – Doors Open
- 3:30 – 4:15 PM – Yin Yoga Workshop
- 4:30 – 5:00 PM – Diaspora Dance Workshop
- 5:30 – 7:00 PM – Panel Discussion:
“From Harm to Healing: A Freedom Forum on Domestic Violence Prevention and Healthy Relationships”
- 7:00 PM – Jiu Jitsu Self-Defense Class
- 8:00 PM – Event Closes

“A Community Healing Affair is about more than services — it's about creating a safe and supportive space where individuals and families can access vital care, share stories, and strengthen community ties,” said Samantha Webb, Public Health Nurse from Greene County Public Health.
This event is hosted in collaboration with Antioch College, the Coretta Scott King Center, Yellow Springs Community Foundation, and others committed to public health and community well-being.
